The aim of this study is to identify and describe the forms of ironical expressions used by the Indonesian language teacher toward the students. The data analyzed consists of utterances or communicative interactions made by the Indonesian language teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang during the learning process. The problem raised in this study is How is the Writing Ability of Descriptive Text of Class VII A Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang?. The purpose of this study is to describe the Writing Ability of Descriptive Text of Class VII A Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang. The theory used is constructivism and writing theory. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this study is the test technique. The data analysis technique in this study is reading students' descriptive texts, identifying descriptive texts according to the structure and language rules, analyzing student data by scoring, and concluding the results of the data analysis. The results of the study showed that, class VII A students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang were able to write descriptive texts well based on the structure and language rules of descriptive texts. Text structure with a percentage of students who completed 78.6% and a percentage of students who did not complete 21.4%. Language rules with a percentage of students who completed 64.9% and a percentage of students who did not complete 35.1%. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang are categorized as capable of writing descriptive texts. This shows that there are students who produce descriptive texts very well and there are also students who do not produce descriptive texts well. The theory used is Information Processing Theory, because what is measured in this study is the role of a teacher in developing dialogue skills with students. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. In this study, the researcher selected material&nbsp; dialogue skills using a role-playing method in accordance with&nbsp; of the Independent Curriculum found Revition Edition&nbsp; grade VII in the odd semester phase D 7.3.1 Conveying ideas, thoughts, views, directions, or messages for the purpose of proposing, solving problems, and providing solutions orally in the form of monologues and dialogues logically, ,critical, and creatively. The Role-Playing method is a method used in language learning, especially learning dialogue skills. Based on the results of the analysis conducted on only teachers Indonesia Language and 24 students in grades VII-C of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang, the role of teachers in developing dialogue skills of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang through the use of role-playing methods can be said to be ineffective. These results can be seen from the percentage success rate of 64.58% of students who are unable to dialogue using the role-playing method, namely the achievement of scores ranging from 70-100. The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of eighth grade K students at SMP Negeri 10 Kupang in writing slogans. The theoretical framework used in this study includes writing theory and constructivist learning theory. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, testing/evaluation, and documentation study. Based on the research conducted on February 24, 2025, involving 27 students from class VIII-K of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang, it was found that the majority of students were able to write slogans well. Of the total, 25 students (92.6%) achieved scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP), which is ≥75, while only 2 students (7.4%) did not meet the criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that the slogan writing ability of class VIII-K students is categorized as very good, as most students met or exceeded the school’s minimum passing score (≥75). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan akan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan menggunakan Posttest Only Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih secara purposive, yaitu kelas X TKJ A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan media flipbook dan kelas X TKJ C sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata persentase N-Gain sebesar 85,99%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya memperoleh 65,10%. Selain itu, kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan pola skor yang lebih konsisten dan merata, dengan standar deviasi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan kategori interpretasi N-Gain, peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelompok eksperimen termasuk dalam kategori sangat efektif. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah perbedaan framing media dalam memberitakan kebijakan kontroversial yang berdampak luas bagi masyarakat, terutama terkait hak anak dan peran lembaga negara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana kedua media tersebut membangun narasi, serta menganalisis struktur wacana yang digunakan dalam memengaruhi opini publik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model analisis wacana kritis van Dijk, yang meliputi analisis struktur makro (tema), suprastruktur (alur), dan mikrostruktur (pilihan kata, semantik, dan strategi diskursif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CNN Indonesia cenderung membangun narasi positif dan membela kebijakan pemerintah, dengan menekankan legitimasi, kolaborasi lintas lembaga, serta penggunaan istilah “pembinaan” dan “pembinaan karakter”. Kritik dari pihak luar hanya diakomodasi secara normatif dan bukan menjadi fokus utama. Sebaliknya, Kompas.com lebih kritis dan problematis terhadap kebijakan tersebut dengan menyoroti suara para pemerhati pendidikan, pentingnya mendengarkan suara anak-anak, dan perlunya penilaian psikologis yang independen. Kompas juga mempertanyakan efektivitas program tersebut dan menekankan perlindungan hak-hak anak. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research examines how teachers integrate real-life contexts into language learning, students’ responses to these methods, and the challenges encountered during the implementation process. The results show that contextual strategies not only enhance students’ language understanding and skills, but also motivate them to participate more actively in learning. However, obstacles such as differences in students’ language abilities and limited instructional time persist. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan yang berlokasi di Jalan Sisingamangaraja No.10 C, Harjosari I, Kecamatan Medan Amplas, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20217. Seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan merupakan populasi penelitian. Metodologi pengambilan sampel acak digunakan, dengan kelas VIII (2) yang terdiri dari 31 siswa berfungsi sebagai kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode pengajaran tradisional, sementara kelas VIII dengan 31 siswa berfungsi sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan metodologi Discovery Learning. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimental kuantitatif dengan kerangka "Two Group pretest-posttest Design". Metode pengumpulan data meliputi teknik observasi, penilaian esai, dan prosedur dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sebelum penerapan Discovery Learning, siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan menunjukkan kemampuan menulis artikel dengan tema "Lingkungan Sekolah" dengan nilai rata-rata 66,29 dan simpangan baku 7,18, menempatkan kinerja pre-test dalam kategori memadai (C). Setelah penerapan model Discovery Learning, kemampuan menulis artikel siswa dengan tema "Lingkungan Sekolah" menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 83,38 dan simpangan baku 3,73, meningkatkan kinerja post-test ke kategori memuaskan (B). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t-hitung melebihi nilai t-tabel (11,63 &gt; 0,355), yang mengarah pada penerimaan Ha. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group, melibatkan 38 peserta didik kelas XI yang terdistribusi dalam dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimental yang memanfaatkan media Wordwall dan kelompok pembanding yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional. Evaluasi data mencakup pengujian normalitas, homogenitas, serta kalkulasi nilai rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Pengujian normalitas melalui metode Shapiro-Wilk mengindikasikan distribusi data yang normal dengan nilai signifikansi posttest 0,182 (&gt;0,05). Pengujian homogenitas dengan uji Levene memverifikasi keseragaman data dengan nilai signifikansi 0,092 (p &gt; 0,05). Perolehan nilai rata-rata pretest kelompok eksperimental tercatat sebesar 68,45 dan berkembang menjadi 82,30 pada posttest. Standar deviasi juga memperlihatkan peningkatan konsistensi capaian pembelajaran, dengan reduksi dari 5,67 pada pretest menjadi 4,21 pada posttest. Data were collected over five weeks, from May 21 to June 17, 2024, with an in-depth analysis of two hearings representing diverse social and cultural contexts.</em></p> <p><em>The first hearing involved a Sundanese plaintiff and a Malay defendant, while the second hearing included a Sundanese plaintiff and a Minangkabau defendant. The analysis results show significant differences in the use of linguistic features between women and men. Women tend to use features such as hedges, intensifiers, and tag questions, reflecting uncertainty and an effort to convey politeness. In contrast, men more frequently discuss masculine topics and use more direct language.</em></p> <p><em>Social factors such as differences in education and cultural background influence how both parties communicate in formal contexts. Additionally, the mediator plays a crucial role in creating a safe and constructive dialogue space. Productive teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of vocational school graduates, as they teach practical subjects closely aligned with industry needs. This research used a quantitative approach and involved 21 respondents from the property construction and geospatial geomatics departments. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that teaching experience has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism. Teachers with longer teaching experience tend to demonstrate stronger pedagogical skills, better subject mastery, and higher involvement in professional development and the use of educational technology. These findings suggest that experience is not merely a matter of duration, but also reflects the quality of a teacher’s engagement in improving the learning process. Therefore, it is essential for schools and policymakers to support teacher career development through continuous training and targeted professional development policies. Furthermore, the results show that both teaching experience and teacher professionalism are at a very high level, with empirical mean scores of 39.95 (61.9% of the theoretical score) and 172.05 (66.7% of the theoretical score), respectively. The positive influence was confirmed by an F-test result of 16.028 with a significance level of 0.001 (&lt; 0.05), and a t-test result where the calculated t-value of 4.004 exceeds the critical t-table value of 1.735. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.457, indicating that 45.7% of the variation in teacher professionalism is influenced by teaching experience, while the remaining 54.3% is affected by other factors. This study aims to (1). To determine the educational background of productive teachers at SMKN 2 Kupang. (2). To determine the significant influence between the educational background of teachers on the professionalism of SMKN 2 Kupang teachers. Ex post facto research method, with a quantitative approach. Simple random sampling technique, sample size 25 teachers. Data collection techniques are questionnaire distribution and documentation analysis. Descriptive statistical data analysis techniques, correlation, regression and hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between educational background and the professionalism of productive teachers at SMKN 2 Kupang. Based on the results of the F test, the calculated F value was 14.159 with a significance of 0.01 &lt; 0.05, so H<sub>the</sub>rejected and H<sub>a </sub>accepted. Improving teachers' digital competency is necessary to create relevant and engaging learning experiences. Solutions are provided through workshops and hands-on mentoring focused on utilizing the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based application, Diffit. Teachers are intensively trained to master Diffit's various features, ensuring the intelligent integration of technology as a pedagogical tool. This activity has significantly improved teacher competency. Teachers are now proficient in using Diffit to transform complex material into various differentiated learning formats (such as summaries and adaptive questions). This drastically reduced the administrative burden and encouraged the implementation of personalized learning (deep learning) in the classroom. This success serves as a model for good practice in empowering teachers through AI. This PkM also strengthens Undana's Tri Dharma by providing a basis for empirical validation for lecturers and real-world experience (experiential learning) that strengthens students' Edutech profiles. The challenge is integrating this abstract concept into classroom practices that support differentiated learning. The solution offered is to combine deep learning with the concept of fields of meaning from linguistics, which helps teachers create contextual materials and facilitates students in building holistic understanding. The Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented through four systematic stages: preparation, training and capacity building for teachers on fields of meaning and deep learning, implementation of modules in the classroom with regular mentoring, and holistic evaluation. The main focus was collaboration between teachers and the community service team in developing teaching modules that support differentiation. This activity successfully produced an innovative teaching module that applies deep learning through the concept of fields of meaning. This module created a paradigm shift from memorization to substantive understanding, strengthening students' contextual understanding and literacy. This success increased teacher capacity and became a replicable asset. This PkM also strengthens Undana's Tri Dharma (Three Pillars of Excellence); lecturers receive theoretical validation and enrich the curriculum, while students gain real-world experience (experiential learning) and strengthen their soft and hard skills. This PkM successfully integrates modern semantics and pedagogy, resulting in improved learning quality in schools.
