The sample for this research was 19 students in class VIII in the control class and 20 students in the experimental class in class VIII of SMP IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu, which was determined using random sampling. The method used in this research is an experiment with a Two-Group-Pre-test and Post-test research design. From data analysis, the average score (pre-test) of the control class was 61.35789 and (post-test) of the control class was 68.20526, while the average score (pre-test) of the experimental class was 60.8 and (post-test) of the experimental class was 85.85. Before the hypothesis test was carried out, prerequisite analysis tests were carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, the normality test results were L_count < L_tabel (0.15073 < 0.381) and the homogeneity test results were So Fcount < Ftable, namely 0.187 < 2.18. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the post-test data for the control class and experimental class were normally distributed and homogeneous. Thus, it can be concluded that because t count > t table, namely 2,292 > 1,687, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The approach used is qualitative with a narrative content analysis method. Data were collected through observation of scenes and dialogues in the series, then analyzed using Kupers' (2005) theory of toxic masculinity. The findings show that Derry initially embodies toxic masculinity characterized by emotional repression, self-isolation, and refusal of help. However, through counseling processes and social relationships, Derry begins to exhibit a transformation toward a new form of masculinity that is empathetic, reflective, and emotionally open. This transformation demonstrates that traumatic experiences can serve as a turning point for men to reject social constructs that suppress emotional expression. The series also highlights interpersonal relationship dynamics as essential media in the healing and identity transformation process. Furthermore, this series conveys educational messages about the importance of emotional balance and gender equality in modern society. Thus, Sugar Daddy becomes a significant representation of male resistance against toxic masculinity and the transformation of masculine identity in a more inclusive and humanistic modern era. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa secara konsisten menerapkan kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi dengan guru, seperti sapaan sopan, pertanyaan dengan hormat, tanggapan yang menghargai, serta pengendalian diri dalam kegiatan kelas. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesantunan meliputi teladan guru, lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung, dan interaksi dengan teman sebaya. Implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui praktik bahasa sehari-hari membantu menanamkan nilai-nilai moral seperti rasa hormat, tanggung jawab, dan empati. By applying a qualitative approach and library research techniques, this study collected data from dialogues in the film and references to related sources. The analysis was conducted using the listening and note-taking method, followed by data processing through qualitative descriptions. The findings of this study reveal two types of code switching: internal code switching and external code switching. Internal code switching occurs when speakers switch between Indonesian and Javanese within the framework of the national language, which is usually triggered by situational conditions, social relationships, and closeness between characters. External code switching occurs when speakers switch from Indonesian to Arabic, especially in religious contexts such as basmalah, hamdalah, salam, and belasongkondolence. This phenomenon shows that code switching is not merely a means of communication, but also reflects the cultural identity, religious values, and social rules of the society depicted in the film. In general, the results of this study confirm that the film "Badarawuhi di Desa Penari" depicts the social reality of Javanese society through the use of authentic, contextual, and culturally rich language. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa secara konsisten menggunakan bahasa sopan dan hormat dalam interaksi dengan guru, seperti menyapa, menggunakan kata penghubung yang tepat, menunggu giliran berbicara, dan menggunakan intonasi santun. Penggunaan bahasa hormat ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai etika verbal, tetapi juga berperan dalam menumbuhkan karakter positif, termasuk disiplin, tanggung jawab, empati, dan kesabaran. Guru memiliki peran strategis sebagai teladan komunikasi sopan, sehingga siswa meniru perilaku tersebut dan nilai-nilai karakter lebih mudah tertanam. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahasa hormat anak kepada guru menjadi media efektif dalam pembentukan karakter positif di sekolah. Wawancara dilakukan dengan guru dan beberapa siswa untuk menggali pemahaman, pengalaman, dan dampak bahasa santun terhadap interaksi serta pembentukan karakter. Dokumentasi berupa catatan harian guru dan materi ajar juga dianalisis untuk mendukung temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru secara konsisten menggunakan bahasa santun dalam interaksi verbal dan nonverbal, termasuk pemilihan kata yang sopan, intonasi yang ramah, serta gestur yang menghargai siswa. Siswa pun terbiasa menggunakan kata-kata sopan seperti “tolong”, “maaf”, dan “terima kasih” dalam berbagai situasi, baik dalam tanya jawab maupun diskusi kelompok. Implementasi bahasa santun ini berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, terutama nilai empati, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kemampuan bekerja sama. Kesimpulannya, bahasa santun bukan hanya sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga alat pendidikan karakter yang efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa afirmasi yang digunakan guru mampu memotivasi siswa, meningkatkan keberanian dalam berpartisipasi, serta membangun rasa percaya diri. Siswa yang menerima afirmasi menunjukkan perilaku positif dalam aspek moral, sosial, dan emosional, termasuk tanggung jawab, kerja sama, empati, dan pengendalian diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan pencatatan melalui dokumentasi berupa tangkapan layar yang diambil saat bermain Honor of Kings. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan tertulis maupun lisan yang mengandung ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam kategori kesembronoan. Sumber data adalah tuturan yang terdapat pada fitur Quick Chat permainan Honor of Kings. Hasil yang diperoleh peneliti dihimpun dalam bentuk data dan dideskripsikan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, kategori kesembronoan yang paling dominan adalah ungkapan seruan dengan unsur bercanda, yaitu sebanyak 19 data. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemain cenderung menggunakan tuturan dengan nada seruan yang disertai unsur humor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan membaca cerita bergambar dan cerita moral meningkatkan kesadaran siswa untuk menolong teman dan berbagi. Kegiatan bercerita dan diskusi kelompok membantu siswa mengekspresikan pengalaman empati serta memahami perspektif teman. Selain itu, kegiatan menulis pengalaman pribadi atau cerita fiksi yang mengandung pesan moral mendorong siswa merefleksikan tindakan peduli dan menanamkan nilai kepedulian sosial secara lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek sebanyak 25 siswa<strong>.</strong> Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi interaksi anak di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak menggunakan berbagai jenis tindak tutur, yaitu assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, dan declarative, dengan expressive sebagai yang paling dominan. Setiap tindak tutur mencerminkan aspek karakter sosial tertentu; misalnya, assertive menunjukkan tanggung jawab, directive mencerminkan kerjasama, commissive menandakan integritas, expressive menggambarkan empati, dan declarative menunjukkan kesadaran sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa tindak tutur anak tidak hanya sebagai sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga media penting dalam pembentukan karakter sosial. Selain itu, bahasa guru yang santun, membangun, dan positif menjadi media efektif untuk menanamkan nilai moral, seperti empati, rasa hormat, kepedulian, dan tanggung jawab. Kombinasi keteladanan dan bahasa guru menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik, memungkinkan peserta didik memahami nilai moral secara teori sekaligus mempraktikkan perilaku positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter di SDN 024 Rambah Samo sangat bergantung pada konsistensi guru dalam menampilkan tindakan nyata dan komunikasi yang mencerminkan nilai moral. This study aims to describe mothers’ perceptions of the socio-emotional development of early childhood in Kelurahan Kayu Putih, Kota Kupang. Participants were selected using purposive sampling. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected via interviews with six mothers who have children aged 3–6 years and were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that mothers in Kelurahan Kayu Putih understand socio-emotional development as a process in which children are able to interact and adapt to their environment, express and communicate their feelings, and cope with minor problems during play. The parenting strategies applied tended to use a democratic parenting style, carried out through simple activities in daily routines such as playing with children, storytelling, or doing household chores together. In practice, mothers faced challenges including limited time, the influence of electronic media, as well as economic and emotional pressures. Nevertheless, mothers continue to hope that their children will grow into empathetic and emotionally independent individuals. These findings indicate that mothers’ perceptions of socio-emotional development are formed not only from theoretical knowledge but also from direct interaction and everyday habits at home. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions and related stakeholders to appreciate and strengthen the positive perceptions that mothers already have through counseling or discussions related to parenting and early childhood development. Data collection is carried out by searching for related references from various relevant sources and in accordance with the current independent curriculum, then determining the indicators to be achieved based on the flow of learning objectives (ATP) and learning outcomes (CP) in accordance with the learning materials used in the study. While the instrument used in data collection in this study is a questionnaire. This instrument was developed through product research looking at the learning aspects, material content, and media aspects. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan memahami teks laporan hasil observasi dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji <em>Paired Sample t-test</em> dengan bantuan SPSS versi 3.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan signifikan antara nilai rata-rata pretest (76,69) dan posttest (80,53) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. The theory used is writing theory, because what is measured in this study is the students' ability to write expository texts based on their own reasoning skills and knowledge gained through social interaction. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the researcher chose material about expository texts by considering the structure and linguistic aspects of expository texts. Expository texts are texts that contain explanations of information or knowledge based on facts about a particular topic presented in written form. Based on the results of the analysis conducted on 23 students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang, the ability to write expository texts with attention to the structure and linguistic aspects of expository texts can be said to be quite capable because 73% (17 students) were able to write fantasy texts with a score of 70-100. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, namely by examining various scientific sources such as journal articles, books, previous research results, and relevant policy documents. The data were analysed descriptively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between PKn and the formation of ecological awareness. The results showed that civic education serves as a means of fostering moral attitudes, social responsibility, and ecological awareness among students. Civic education shapes civic knowledge, civic skills, and civic dispositions relevant to environmental issues, thereby fostering understanding, skills, and attitudes of concern for sustainable coexistence. In contextual and applied learning, such as project-based learning and the application of the Pancasila Student Profile, students can actively participate in recycling, greening, and energy conservation activities as a tangible manifestation of environmentally-conscious citizenship values. Effective strategies that can be implemented include the application of an eco-civic education approach, the strengthening of character education based on Pancasila values, and participatory learning that involves students in social action and ecological reflection. The benefits of this study are theoretical and practical. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with 23 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 20 Kupang as the subjects. The research instrument used is the students' work. Data collection was carried out using a test technique. The data analysis technique was to test the collected data. The results showed that out of 23 students, only 12 students were able to write persuasive texts, while the structure of the students' text in terms of issue recognition reached 26.9%, 35.2% in the argument sequence aspect, 29.1% in the appeal statement aspect, and 30.4% in the reaffirmation aspect. The study employs an anthropolinguistic approach, combining linguistic analysis with socio-cultural context to understand how taboo language functions in maintaining sacredness and social order within traditional ceremonies.The research applies a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation involving three key informants: traditional elders and ritual leaders. The data were analyzed through transcription, translation, classification and interpretation of the taboo utterances, based on Kridalaksana’s (1993) theory and Hymes’s (1972) SPEAKING communication model.The findings reveal 28 main taboo utterances, consisting of 19 positive (sacred) taboos and 9 negative (socially prohibited) taboos. Positive taboos are associated with sacred elements, respect toward God, ancestors and cultural symbols—such as Loda Pari, Mamuli and Labba. Negative taboos, on the other hand, are linked to prohibitions against words or expressions believed to bring misfortune or offend ancestral spirits, such as Mehang Karaga, Ratu Hanguju and Patara Mata Madu.These findings demonstrate that taboo utterances serve as a means to preserve ritual sanctity, regulate social behavior and symbolize reverence toward ancestral and cultural values. The type of research used is classroom action research with the following stages, planning, implementation, observation, testing and reflection by taking the research location at SMPK Santa Maria Assumpta Kupang. The subjects in this study were 28 class VII A students. Data collection was carried out using observation and test techniques. The date were processed and analiyzed further using quantitative descriptive. The Result of this study indicate that the application of the SQ3R Methode can improve the ablility to read comprehension of descriptive texts of students where in cycle I the completeness obtained was 43% or 12% students who achieved completeness while those those who had not achieved the completeness criteria werw 57% with a total of 16 students. In addition, there was an increase in the average value of student test results from 65 in cycle II to 81 in cycle II. Thus, the application of the SQ3R Methode (Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Reviuw), has been proven to impove the reading comprehension ablitiy of descriptive texts of class VII A students. The study applies semiotic theory, which explains the process of examining and analyzing signs and cultural symbols.A qualitative method was employed, as the research object was studied in its natural cultural context. The analysis reveals that the symbols found in Sarung Kelimara, Sarung Jara Elo, Sarung Redu Siku Mbira, and Sarung Pundi each possess distinct forms, functions, and meanings. The theory used in this research is Lowenthal's theory: Social Barometer. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Research results The results of this research show that the character Nyoman Sulastri has the value of social responsibility, the character Hanibal has the social value of cooperation, the character Sujono has the value of social responsibility, and the character Barbara has the value of social responsibility. The four figures have dominant social values from each of the three social values studied, namely love, responsibility and life harmony. The conclusion of this thesis is that these figures have different dominant social values, starting from responsibility towards family, work, education and cooperation. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to write fantasy story texts through the application of make-a match learning models. The theory used in this study is the cognitive constructivism learning theory by Jean Piaget, text-based learning and writing theory The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method After conducting research on students, the results obtained that the number of pairs who successfully matched the cartoons was 9 pairs and those who did not succeed in finding their card pairs were 4 pairs. In accordance with four aspects which include aspects of title, structure, linguistic rules, and elements of fantasy story texts. In the student worksheets that have been analyzed, the number of students is 25 people and 25 student worksheets obtained an overall average score of 72. These results can be seen from the percentage of success rate of 72% of students who are quite capable of writing fantasy story texts with scores ranging from 70-100. Students who are said to have completed or exceeded the KKM number 17 people with a percentage of 68% while students who did not complete number 8 people with a percentage of 32%. The study used a non-participant observation method, focusing on the four main values </em><em></em><em>of character education: discipline, responsibility, honesty, and cooperation. Data were obtained through direct observation of student behavior and the role of teachers in guiding and implementing character habits. The observations indicate that the implementation of character education at the school is in the good category, characterized by fairly consistent discipline routines, the implementation of responsibilities through duty and completion of learning assignments, and student cooperation in group activities. However, the value of honesty still requires reinforcement, especially when students face learning evaluations. Teachers play an active role through role modeling, providing guidance, and positive reinforcement.
