Peer Review Process

The first stage is an initial editorial review (also known as Desktop Review, Screening Review) by one of the section editors or editor-in-chief, which results in a decision to submit a peer review (stage 2) or editorial disapproval.

If the paper passes to stage 2, the Section Editor will be assigned to manage the review process. Here, two members of the Journal Lazuardi review panel will be assigned to review the paper. Our review panel is made up of researchers and practitioners drawn from section editors and other experienced researchers. The reviewers selected to review articles are selected based on their experience, expertise, and interests that align with the article's focus.

Journal Lazuardi uses a double-blind review process. In it, the reviewer knows the identity of the author, but the author does not know the identity of the reviewer. No direct communication is allowed between reviewers and authors.

The Articles will be reviewed based on the following criteria: The review contains an analysis of the substance of the manuscript in the title, abstract, keywords, introduction, discussion and closing sections. Provide input also on aspects of novelty, scientific impact and use of references in the manuscript.

The editor will notify you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully within 30 days. Editors will run a plagiarism check using the Plagiarism Checker for submitted articles before submitting them to reviewers. We do not process plagiarized content. If an article has more than 20% plagiarism based on the results of the examination, the article will be rejected. The languages used in this journal are English and Indonesian.

The Accepted research articles will be available online (free download) after the journal's peer-review process. The final decision on acceptance of the article will be made by the Editor in accordance with the Reviewer's comments. Articles sent back to the author for revision must be returned to the editor without delay. Revised articles that are returned more than 20 days will be considered as new submissions. Revised articles can be sent to the editor via the Online Submission Interface on our online Journal website.

All articles published by Open Access will soon and forever be free for everyone to read and download.
